Quad Channel 64 GBaud Linear Modulator Driver

The MAOM-006417 is a high performance quad channel linear modulator driver for coherent applications with up to 600 Gbps payload on a single wavelength. The device can be driven with a differential input signal up to 700 mVpp and has linear gain which is adjustable from 12 dB to 24 dB. The single-ended linear output voltage can be adjusted up to 4.5 Vpp with typical power dissipation of 1 W per channel and total harmonic distortion of less than 4 %. The part is packaged in a 14 mm x 9.1 mm surface mount package with integrated high frequency coils and coupling capacitors. It also incorporates peak detectors on each of the outputs for use in an APC.
