PT-50A/8V/DC/FC

The PT-50A is an ultrafast, fiber-optic receiver module for 56 Gbaud PAM and NRZ applications. It couples a high responsivity (0.56 A/W), proprietary, back-illuminated PIN photodiode, usable from 1200 nm to 1650 nm, with a linear amplifier providing superior linearity over dynamic operating input powers. This combination produces a receiver with bandwidth from DC to 50 GHz and AC conversion gain of over 100 V/W.

The receiver is offered in a compact 8-pin butterfly-style package with a standard single-mode input fiber and a coaxial output connector.
