The device typically consumes as low as 1.75 Watts of power with all channels operational, allowing for the removal of heatsink requirements. The PowerScalerâ„¢ feature offers dynamically scalable switch settings to further reduce power consumption. With the use of the SmartPowerâ„¢ feature, unused portions of the core can be automatically turned off without affecting the operation of the remaining channels. In addition, individual input and output buffers can manually be powered down.
